The month of May has been extremely busy, yet rewarding for everyone over at BetterView. We started off the month announcing our on-demand drone imagery and data was integrated into the Loss Control 360 Carrier platform. Now we’ve closed out the month by announcing CIS Group has chosen to provide BetterView’s drone software and services to its national network of field inspectors.
Since 1996 CIS Group has overseen the completion of more than 20 million field underwriting and claim transactions for over 125 of its insurance clients. As we noted earlier this year in Insurance Journal that while 2016 was a big year for drone testing, 2017 would be known for insurers moving from concept to real production use with drones. This latest partnership announcement is a great example of how commercial drones and are being adopted by organizations to improve workflow and provide key insights with their specialized imagery.
